Standard Coiled Wire is what is included with most Hit-Air vests and jackets. The loop setter enables precise adjustment to fit a wide range of bikes, scooters, and ATVs.
RS1 Race Coiled Wire features a rapid one-touch release mechanism tailored for track use, enabling riders to coordinate seamlessly without disruption.
Connector Holder prevents coiled wires from dangling, keeping connections secure and organized when not in use.

Much improved web store since my first air bag vest purchase. Easy to navigate, quick response, and the followup service from the Hit Air staff is amazing.
Just like the vest this is very simple and easy to use. I installed it between my rearview mirror and right hand side starter button and keep the tether from hanging to the side of the bike. This is also a remainder to connect to the tether. You can open it to install it around any pipe (handlebar or similar). It also comes with some soft wire in case you want to secure it with it also (I didn't do it)When I'm riding I just flip it over to the front and can't even see it or feel it. Highly recommended.
will not ride without my racer vest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good afternoon,
That jacket probably saved my life, I lad my bike down about 3 years ago, and I'm still alive to talk about it, I bought a new canister to put in the jacket so I can wear it when it's not to hot out.
Muy buena calidad
I bought this when I purchased a second motorcycle and wanted to use this with my HitAir vest. The first bike is a Yamaha FZ1 - kind of a standard. My second bike a Harley-Davidson Ultra, a bagger cruiser. Each bike has a very different riding position and different tether lengths, so each bike needs its own. These come with excellent installation instructions.I love my HitAir vest and won’t own a bike without being properly set up with one of these tethers. If I were to travel and rent a bike for an extended trip (and I have done that), I would buy an extra tether and set it up on the rental bike. It’s easy to remove and if you don’t mind a bit of extra cord poking out, there is no need to cut it and make it any shorter than when new.
this is the ripcord for the hit air vests, the stock one, so it is what it is supposed to be. If you lost yours or just need one for another motorcycle this is the one you need
Yes, can with many year's use wear out. So easy to replace and install.
Bought this to replace the original one that came with the vest. I accidentally let the clasp fall on my hot exhaust a few times and it melted it to the point over time that it finally broke. I'd say that's fairly good longevity for 5 years.
Easy installation and worked well
Great
As expected and described, wire replacement or backup
great service, just what i needed to use the vest, i lost the original wire, for riding my motorcycle more safely, [ is that right does not sound right] well its truethanks
Its just like the one which came with my Hit Air jacket. Had to order a new cable when I cut my original one too short.
I'm happy with product
Good
Works, fits, and good quality
I own more than one motorcycle, so getting an additional tether was a lot cheaper than getting another Hit-Air Vest!Installation was straightforward. Remove the seat and secure to a frame component. Be sure that it dangles on the right side and don't forget to re-install the seat!
I needed a replacement after I crashed hitting a deer at 60mph and flying / sliding about 200 ft. The vest did it's job perfectly only getting a bit scuffed up. All I had to show for the crash was a small dime sized bruise. The leash should be changed after a high speed crash. The rubber sleeving was ripped in one spot, but the core was still perfect. NEVER RIDE WITHOUT AN AIRBAG VEST!
This replacement wire is almost identical to the OEM one but it's a little shorter. Other than the length is seems to be well made and should work equally as well as the original. I would recommend this item.
Sturdy piece of equipment. Fortunately I have not had to use it.
Bit expensive only for the wire alone.... but given that it's from Japan and sturdy, the price may be reasonable.
Hit-Air Coiled wire for Motorcycle
Great replacement when I lost the original, exactly the same original wire for your Hit-Air inflatable vest
As expected
Luckily haven't had to "use" my jacket yet, but the lanyard works well. Old one got chewed up due to my forgetfullness.
