3 Essential Tips for Flying with CO2 and Wearable Airbags

Travel Smarter, Not Harder

Traveling can be stressful for many, with challenges like getting to the airport, finding parking, and navigating flight procedures. Let us help ease some of your travel concerns. We’ve compiled three quick tips for traveling with your Hit-Air gear.

1. Keep it clean.

Proper care of your Hit-Air products is essential for extending their lifespan. Did you know that maintaining clean equipment can be beneficial if you undergo a swab test during flight check-in? To help prevent false positives, ensure you eliminate any grease, sweat, pet hair, and other residues. Keep in mind that while these items are allowed during air travel, the final decision rests with the TSA agents.

2. Follow the rules.

What does this mean for Hit-Air wearable airbag systems when flying? They can go in the check and carry on luggage. All Hit-Air vest and jacket hold one, specifically designed Hit-Air co2 cartridge. Then, two spare canisters can join packed with your Hit-Air system. We recommend packing the spare co2 with your tool kit. Download and print the TSA page found here before your flight. Pack all three together. Remember TSA agents are busy keeping everyone safe. Wearable airbag life vest are not something you see every day.

3. Arrive early. Be Kind.

While riders have not reported any issues flying with Hit-Air in checked baggage, some have been asked to discard canisters in carry-ons. Arrive early to address any agent inquiries. Remember, the TSA Agents have final say.
